Landmark Homecare LLC is seeking a compassionate and responsible Home Care Assistant to provide non-medical support services to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensure their comfort, and promote a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily personal care activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.)
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and organizing
- Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding if required
- Remind clients to take prescribed medications (non-medical supervision only)
- Support mobility and help clients move safely around the home
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition to supervisors
- Maintain a respectful, caring, and professional attitude at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience in caregiving or home care is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Physically able to assist clients when needed
Preferred Skills
- Experience in elderly or disability care
- Basic first aid knowledge
- Understanding of home safety practices
